Condition & logistics
Running vs Not Running
We accept both running and non-running motorcycles! Whether your bike is fully functional or has been sitting idle for months, it can still make a positive impact in our community.
Title Issues
When donating your motorcycle, please ensure the title is signed and includes the odometer reading. If you have any issues with the title, don’t worry—we're here to help guide you through the process.
Storage & Pickup Logistics
If your motorcycle is taking up space in your garage or driveway, we can arrange a hassle-free pickup at a time that works for you. Just give us a shout, and we’ll handle the rest!
Title transfer & paperwork
In Texas, transferring the title of your motorcycle is straightforward. You’ll need to complete the Texas DMV Form 130-U for the transfer, which requires you to sign the title and note the odometer reading. While notarization isn't mandatory for most private sales, it can help avoid disputes later. Don’t forget to return your license plates to the DMV to avoid any future fees or confusion!
Tax deduction for this donation
By donating your motorcycle to Ride Again, you may qualify for a tax deduction typically ranging from $500 to the vehicle’s fair market value. Be sure to keep an eye out for IRS Form 1098-C, which we’ll send post-donation to help with your tax filing. Ride Again wants to make the process as seamless as possible for you!
